We would like to thank Pat Rusk for coming out to speak to us about education issues. She has some great ideas when it comes to education, and her ideas our well thought-out. She also had plenty of statistics to back up her arguments. We need legislators with the same understanding of the importance of education that she has. Our group has a surprising amount of educators, and even though many of them weren’t there that night, the ones that were there that I talked to after her speech were roused and inspired by what she had to say.
