Recipe for “Shock & Awe”

One of my favorite drinks from our recent Liberal Mixer was Mike’s “Shock & Awe”; and he even wrote up a little description for the drink which I thought made the drink that much better:

Equal parts – over ice:

-Vodka – Russia – Remember the cold war?
-Frangelico – Italy – Who could have that many governments?
-Kahlua – Mexico – Perhaps we should build a fence. (W. knows where to get some cheap labor!)
-Malibu Rum – A taste of the islands with a Canadian distillery (don’t worry, be happy)
-Heavy Cream – The good ol’ USA – what else could I possibly add?

You will be “awed” at how good these taste and “shocked” at how they kick your ass!

For those of you who are concerned that “shock & awe” is a republican term, do not worry. A republican would never willingly bring together this many ethnic groups (reference ingredients above) or get caught having this much fun!

Disclaimer:
These are not for the weak hearted. There are about a million calories in each and buying the ingredients is roughly equivalent to the price of financing the Iraq war – but with a much better outcome.
