Liberals of a new, healthier America,

This Friday, March 26th (tomorrow), we’ll be in the back room of the Piper Down with a regular old meetup agenda of drinks and good conversation. An agenda with which you can’t go wrong, especially with the big health care reform news – and subsequent potential lawsuit by our Attorney General – giving us plenty to talk about.

And on April 9th, we’ll be holding our “Candidate Meet & Drink” night. We’ve invited left-leaning candidates from many of the local races to join us for an evening of drinks and conversation. Put it on your calendar now, this will be a fun event!

Another crazy Utah legislative session is coming to an end this week, and we can’t think of a better reason to celebrate. Come join us in the back room of the Piper Down this Friday, March 12th from 6:30 – 9:30, because there’s plenty to talk about.

If you missed our guest speaker event last week, you missed what was actually a lot of fun. Rep. Jen Seelig set the tone early, and Reps Litvack & Wheatley and Sen McAdams all seemed to have a good time engaging with our crowd as well. All while giving us the low-down on what’s happening on the hill. So thanks to them for taking some time out during the session to come talk with us. Thanks also to Laura for always lining up great speakers for us.

There’s no Drinking Liberally meetup this Friday, so we’ll see you next Friday (March 12th)!
