Join us this Friday night for another round of Drinking Liberally! We’ll be in the same place as always, the Temple Bar of the Piper Down starting at 6:30.

On June 17th we’ll have another of our popular Meet the Candidate nights, with candidates for state offices. So mark your calendars and stay tuned.

While the weather in Utah has left most of us grumbling, it’s nothing like the tornadoes that ravaged parts of Missouri. We’ve heard from Trisha, the leader of the Joplin Drinking Liberally chapter, who’s told us that all their members are alive, safe and accounted for but one of them lost her grandfather in the storm, and also then her mother from injuries while looking through the rubble for the grandfather. She also says there is a “great need for supplies in the shelters”, as you can imagine. The Huffington Post has a list of ways you can help, including donation via text and specific relief agencies dedicated to all the displaced animals.
