Join us tomorrow, June 7th for our regularly scheduled Drinking Liberally meetup. Mow that Pride week is completed we will be at our usual location in the back bar at Piper Down (1492 South State Street) from 6:00-9:00 PM.
In the News
We can talk about how our jet setting President has been on a world tour recently, making excuses for dictators and alienating allies. Or we can talk about the tariffs on all Mexican goods set to begin next week. It seems kidnapping, caging, and allowing migrant children to be raped in custody just was not sending a strong enough message. Or we can talk about the extremely weird weather patterns across the country that are presumably part of some huge Chinese hoax to make climate change look real. In local news we can talk about the now 8 candidates running for SLC Mayor or the ridiculous amount of unlimited fundraising GOP stalwarts Hughes and Cox are collecting for their respective runs at the Utah Governor’s race. Also, SLC teachers are pushing for a 6% pay raise, which will still put them at one of the lower paid districts in the state. But, they are legally not allowed to speak about it at the public school board meetings while contract negotiations are underway. Ridiculous!
